First full draft of semantics dissertation done! Nearly. I have two paragraphs that I need an article for, and only two libraries in Cambridge have the journal it's in (and neither of them are near me). So on Monday I'll get the article from Experimental Psych and finish it. Until then, I'll use this weekend to write, sketch, and work on job applications and my Springboard workbook.
Also, Katamari Damacy is and was ace. I've managed to finish it and (finally) unlock all the Eternal stages - Eternal 3 gave me some trouble, as it involves getting up to 800m on the final stage. Which is pretty much the point at which you've rolled up everything. (As far as I can tell, rolling up absolutely everything in the world gets you to about 825m.)
Shadow of Memories was also very good, since it was (a) about time travel, (b) a sort-of RPG that didn't involve too much button pressing, and (c) pretty. 'Pretty' here means it was early PS2 3D rendering, and thus the characters can't necessarily act all that well, but some of them look really quite cool. I particularly liked Homunculus, whose gender I'm still not sure of. And the voice acting did grow on me, I admit.
Oh, and I'm still playing Disgaea. Got three of the endings so far, gone onto the next cycle after the Normal Ending (no! Can't let it happen again! Must be more careful next time!) and am prepared to do all sorts of mad levelling up yet again. I do sort of wish that the game had a list of all the endings you've got, but that would be smashing the fourth wall to bits with a hammer.
And as a final thought on a PS2 game - Hotaru Izumi is incredibly difficult to get in Tokimemo 3. She has two events that can occur on early dates that turn her from liking you into not asking you for the time of day. Granted, she does have a somewhat tragic past, but even with two dates a month I'm worried that she won't like my character enough by the end of the third year. At least the last character I have to get will only require sleeping a lot and not completely failing my exams, which I can easily manage.
