NaNoWriMo 2004 - an update.

I'm not sure that I'll manage to get to 50000 words this year. As with last year, RSI has hit, and I'm taking a few days off typing (well, except for what's necessary for emails and keeping in contact with people.

I'll try my best to write stuff longhand and get it typed up on the last two days of November, though. :)

Could you cheat slightly, and ask someone else to type up your work? Or is that beyond the pale?

Unfortunately, by now it's too late for me to get back up to anywhere near 50,000 words, even with a last-day spurt. Wrists ache too much. I'll be keeping up with it gradually over the year, as I did with last year's entry, though.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, where do you know me from? I noticed a while back that you'd friended me, and you're the only person who's friended me who I haven't been able to easily map to someone I know in RL or online. Just curious. :)

Ah well. It was worth a thought. I thought about entering NaNoWriMo this year, then realised I wouldn't have the time to commit to it. And now I do, but la, that's life.

Where do I you know you from? That's a damn good question actually. I've been trying to remember. I think what happened, was that you posted a commment I liked on a group somewhere, and I decided to take a look at your journal, and liked it, so friended you (I use friending as a form of lj bookmarking, so no pressure to friend back). Also, because we have a lot of interests in common. I know it doesn't look like that from interests list, but that's because I have a split lj personality (I have another lj somewhere). The Goons and Sailor Moon are probably what most likely caused me to prick up my ears... In fact, now that I think about it, I think your lj handle got my attention - blue bottle (heehee!) *exits stage left with dirty great lump on noggin!*
