I have ordered a pair of Yaktrax ice grips so that the next time it snows heavily, stays freezing for several days and then rains and leaves the pavement outside my house a slippery deathtrap, I will be confident enough on the ice to walk rather than attempt, slip, attempt, slip, give up and go back home. :)
